At first glance, you cannot help but notice the robust CASIO G triple resist, designed to withstand vibration, shock and centrifugal force; if in case the prevailing strength of steel, the bracelets are stainless steel and resin, which are used in a truly synergistic, with a result a winner in terms of comfort and perceived weight when worn on the wrist; the steel is also used in the closure, equipped with a safety system convenient to use and which constitutes an additional guarantee.

The crown, once unlocked, will beep and the system operation is realized by playing a little and I can assure you, it’s fun. From here you can then set the functions as a timer (which can be set from 1 to 60 minutes), daily alarm and a second global time by selecting the country of interest.
The functions available to be set with the smart access are then accessible from the mode button and the other two keys present; I want to point out, among other cool features, the temperature display that can measure temperatures in the range between -10°C and 60°C, just press the button at the top right and the same part with the measurement very quickly, but reading is not very understandable, so just take a few minutes to study by reading the instruction manual to find out how to read the dial to figure out the right measurement, stopwatch (with start and stop functions, fly back and reset) and function (UTC the reference time zone from which they calculated all other time zones in the world), of course, very useful for those who travel frequently across the world.
Worthy of note is definitely the time trial, in which the hands are regulated by a system of three independent motors. The operation is guaranteed solely by solar energy, but also by fluorescent or other forms of energy thanks to tough solar system; features are the energy-saving device in each room, allowing you to use the stored energy even after a prolonged period of absence of light; the internal engine of this model continues to operate (with full charge even for months), and then the watch is able to start immediately as soon as the light is provided, indicating in real time the time thanks to the energy stored.
The hands are coated with a luminescent material for a reading time even in the absence of light; in this case, especially being a virtually all-black model, it still feels the lack of a backlight feature, found on most models G-Shock, which I personally think is very useful to be able to see the time even at night or in the absence of light.
The watch is very comfortable and lightweight, even if the case is completely made of steel, the dimensions are not at all exaggerated. The design is very attractive, especially in this color, and is coupled with ease of use features on an analog model; Maverick in 2014 certainly would have brought the Casio G-Shock GW-A1000FC-1AER Gravity Defier!
With this model, Casio G-Shock has shown that not necessarily mean digital; recommend this model for those who travel a lot and do not want to miss a second. The assessment of personal experience with the Casio G-Shock GW-A1000FC-1AER Gravity Defier would lead me to a 9, but I have to get down to 8 for the lack of backlighting, fly in the ointment for this exclusive model.
